In charging the fees of the foreign students, the schools should follow the Provisional Measures on Administration of Primary and Secondary Schools in Admitting Foreign Students (Ministry of Education, No.4, 1999), the Approval of Zhejiang Education Department for the Ten Schools to Admit Foreign Students including Hangzhou Yuanqing High School (Zhe Jiao Wai, No.74, 2004) and the Approval of Zhejiang Education Department about the Fees of the Foreign Students to be Charged by the Primary and Secondary Schools in Hangzhou (Zhe Jiao Ji, No.151, 2004). 1. The primary and secondary schools authorized by Zhejiang Education Department to enroll foreign students shall charge the same fees applicable to their domestic students. No incidental fees shall be charged except the tuition fees for the primary and junior high schools. 2. The tuition fees are charged based on the average cost of a student’s schooling education. Private schools and those which are run in a private-school model shall charge their foreign students in accordance with the same year’s standard approved or put on record in prices branch; the state schools shall charge their foreign students based on their own average cost of a student’s schooling education, approved by the municipal prices branch(except the schools in Xiaoshan and Yuhang districts, whose charges standards are to be approved by their local prices branched). 3. There is no difference in the other charges between foreign and domestic students. | |
