1. The schools authorized to enroll foreign students either in Hangzhou municipality or the cities or towns under its jurisdiction should all make convenience for the admission of the qualified foreign students. They should provide good conditions for the foreign students and establish a bylaw to guide and regulate their study, life and security.
2. These schools shall bring their foreign students into their administration and request and inculcate them to abide by the laws in China and their school’s rules and regulations. Generally, there will be no special class of entire foreign students, except for the need of Chinese language training. They are exempt from the classes of Sixiang Pingde (Thought Moral Culture) and Sixiang Zhengzhi (Thought Politics Culture). Injuries at schools are dealt with according to Measures on Treating Students’ Injuries in Primary and Secondary Schools in Hangzhou.
3. The foreign students in Hangzhou shall be awarded a graduation certificate by the related school after finishing and passing all the examinations of the required curriculums. Those who fail to complete the entire schooling may be given a descriptive certification of study.
